The "VAT Setup" module serves as the central hub for managing Value Added Tax (VAT) configurations within the system. This module allows administrators to oversee, create, and modify all VAT-related parameters, ensuring accurate tax calculations and adherence to financial regulations.

The table includes the following columns:

• SL: A serial number for each entry.
• VAT Name: The assigned name for the VAT configuration.
• Rate (%): The percentage rate defined for the VAT.
• Effective Date: The date from which the VAT rate is active.
• End Date: The date on which the VAT rate ceases to be active.
• Status: Indicates whether the VAT configuration is currently "ACTIVE" or has another status.
• Actions: Contains actionable icons for managing individual VAT entries.

o View Icon: Allows viewing the full details of a VAT configuration (refer to Section 35). o Edit Icon: Enables modification of a VAT configuration (refer to Section 34). o Delete Icon: Facilitates the removal of a VAT configuration from the system.

A filter text box is available to quickly narrow down the list of VATs based on specific criteria.

The system provides options to export the displayed VAT data in various formats:

• Excel: Exports the data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format.

• PDF: Exports the data into a Portable Document Format file.

The "Columns" dropdown enables users to select which columns are visible in the "List of VATs" table, allowing for customization of the displayed information.

To add a new VAT configuration, select the "Add New +" button. This will initiate the process of creating a new VAT entry (refer to Section 33). This module provides a comprehensive interface for managing VAT settings, crucial for financial operations.
