The "Edit DMA" module provides administrators with the capability to modify the details of existing District Metered Areas within the system. This function ensures that DMA information, including its assigned zone, name, effective date, and operational status, remains current and accurate, which is vital for effective network management and water distribution.

The "Edit DMA" form presents the DMA's current information, allowing for modifications to various fields. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be populated.

• **Zone Name *:** Displays the current parent zone. This field is a dropdown, allowing you to select a different existing zone if the DMA's association needs to be changed.
• **DMA Code *:** Displays the unique code for the DMA. This field is generally read-only as it serves as a primary identifier once created.
• **DMA Name *:** The official and descriptive name of the DMA. This field is editable, allowing for corrections or name changes.
• **Effective Date *:** The date from which the DMA configuration is considered active or valid. This field is editable via a calendar icon, allowing for the selection of a new effective date.
• Status: The current operational status of the DMA. Select a new status from the dropdown menu to change it to "Active" or "Inactive" as required.

o Active: The DMA is currently operational and available for use. o Inactive: The DMA is not actively used, and its functionalities may be restricted.

• Description: An editable free-text field for any additional details, notes, or a comprehensive description pertaining to the DMA.

• Update: After making all necessary modifications to the DMA's details, select the "Update" button to save the changes. Upon successful update, the modal window will close, and the "List of DMAs" will reflect the revised information.
• Cancel: If you wish to discard any changes made and exit the "Edit DMA" form without saving, select the "Cancel" button. The modal window will close, and the DMA's information will remain unchanged.
