The "Edit Slum" module provides administrators with the capability to modify the details of existing slum areas within the system. This function ensures that slum information, including its assigned zone, name, location, effective date, and operational status, remains current and accurate, which is vital for effective community support and urban development initiatives.

The "Edit Slum" form presents the slum's current information, allowing for modifications to various fields. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be populated.

• **Zone Name *:** Displays the current parent zone. This field is a dropdown, allowing you to select a different existing zone if the slum's association needs to be changed.
• **Slum Code *:** Displays the unique code for the slum. This field is generally read-only as it serves as a primary identifier once created.
• **Slum Name *:** The official and descriptive name of the slum. This field is editable, allowing for corrections or name changes.
• **Slum Location *:** Displays the specific geographical location of the slum. This field is editable, allowing for updates to the location description.
• **Effective Date *:** The date from which the slum configuration is considered active or valid. This field is editable via a calendar icon, allowing for the selection of a new effective date.

• Status: The current operational status of the slum. Select a new status from the dropdown menu to change it to "Active" or "Inactive" as required.

o Active: The slum is currently operational and available for use. o Inactive: The slum is not actively used, and its functionalities may be restricted.

• Description: An editable free-text field for any additional details, notes, or a comprehensive description pertaining to the slum.

• Update: After making all necessary modifications to the slum's details, select the "Update" button to save the changes. Upon successful update, the modal window will close, and the "List of Slums" will reflect the revised information.
• Cancel: If you wish to discard any changes made and exit the "Edit Slum" form without saving, select the "Cancel" button. The modal window will close, and the slum's information will remain unchanged.
