The "Edit VAT" module allows administrators to modify the details of existing Value Added Tax (VAT) configurations within the system. This capability ensures that VAT rates and their associated information remain current and compliant with evolving tax regulations or internal policy changes.

The "Edit VAT" form presents the VAT configuration's current information, allowing for modifications to various fields.

• VAT Name: Displays the current name of the VAT configuration. This field is editable, allowing for corrections or changes to the name.
• Effective Date: Displays the current effective date for the VAT. This field is editable via a calendar icon, allowing for changes to the activation date.
• Rate (%): Displays the current VAT rate as a percentage. This field is editable, allowing for updates to the rate.
• Remarks: An editable free-text field for any additional comments or notes pertaining to the VAT configuration.
• Attachment: This section allows for managing supporting documents.

o Existing attachments are displayed and can typically be removed.

o New files can be added by dragging and dropping into the designated area or by using the "Browse for files" option.

o Observe the maximum allowed file size for attachments.

• Update: After making all necessary modifications to the VAT configuration details and managing attachments, select the "Update" button to save the changes. Upon successful update, the modal window will close, and the VAT list will reflect the revised information.
• Cancel: If you wish to discard any changes made and exit the "Edit VAT" form without saving, select the "Cancel" button. The modal window will close, and the VAT configuration's information will remain unchanged.
